TQC has a new USB microscope with many accessories. This compact digital microscope is ideal for analyzing coating failures, imperfections, pre-treatment quality etc.. The microscope can be used in direct contact to the surface or at larger distances. The 8 integrated White Light LED's are adjustable in strength guaranteeing a clear view without causing reflections.

With the accompanying software the images made with the microscope can be edited but also measured. The software allows measuring objects in micrometres (0.001mm) resolution including circle diameters, area measurements, angles etc..

A complete set consists of: microscope with USB cable, L-shape stand, brick-stand, 2 cover tips, calibration sheets, dust cover and measuring/editing software.

The cross cut test is commonly used to perform an adhesion tests according to ISO 2409. The present standard is about to be renewed by an updated version. Internationally ISO is working very hard on rewriting this new release.

Old errors will be corrected and the focus will be brought back to the cutting and not on the tape. The difference between a multi or a single blade scratch tool is much clearer defined than in the past. Old reports almost never defined the used type of knife, the new reports will have to. When this is not reported new reports will be invalid in the future.

The substrate should be flat when the multi blade cutting tools like the CC1000, CC2000 and CC3000 are used. When performing the test a solid support table is also a key issue. Tables tend to bend and create errors when scratching. When the new ISO 2409 will be finalized we will inform you through this newsletter.

The TQC cylindrical mandrel bend test has been improved significantly. The old model was able to bend panels at a width of about 7 cm. The new model can bend up to 10 cm wide panels. Taken into account that you should always subtract 1 cm of each side to prevent incorrect interpretation of cutting defects, the new TQC tester allows you to evaluate across an area of a smashing 8 cm.

The luxurious desktop holder with 14 mandrels can also be wall mounted.

The Cylindrical Bend test is mandatory in Qualicoat, QIB and GSB accredited laboratories, and complies to ISO 1519 .

The TQC Concrete moisture meter is a non-destructive moisture meter for concrete. By means of measuring the electrical impedance the moisture content of concrete can easily be determined by just pressing the instrument against the concrete surface.

This system is not suitable to measure through electrically conductive materials like metal or rubber linings or wet surfaces.

TQC Concrete Moisture meters are ideal to quickly test large concrete floors or constructions which have to be painted or where (wooden) floorings are being installed.

Four scales allow flexible use of the instrument as an accurate measuring device or just as a detector to find moisture traces or leakage.

The TQC Thermo hygrometer is a simple hand-held digital thermo/hygrometer. Temperature and air humidity are displayed simultaneously. Equipped with MIN/MAX memory, °C/°F selection, HOLD function and dewpoint indication.

TQC follows the technical developments closely. We regularly come across interesting products. This time: the flexible keyboard.

Eating and drinking near your keyboard is not the best idea. For anyone who can't resist it there's the flexible keyboard.
This retractable keyboard can be rinsed with water. No matter how dirty it gets, the flexible keyboard can be cleaned easily.

An additional advantage is that you can take it anywhere. Because it is flexible, it can easily be stored in a backpack or other bag. The flexible keyboard is virtually indestructible and dust-and waterproof.
